LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector of Posts for the year 2011 held on 15th & 16th October 2011

 

Copy of Postal Directorate letter No.A-34012/04/2011-DE dtd. 06-01-2012 is reproduce below :-

     I am directed to intimate that the above mentioned examination was held on 15th & 16th October, 2011 in 21 Centres.
2.   After conducting the Examination, many grievances from the candidates who took the Examination and from Service Unions/Associations have been received alleging prescribing of certain questions outside the syllabus in respect of Paper-III of IP Examination 2011 held on 16-10-2011.  The Competent Authority, therefore, ordered to constitute a Committee of departmental officers for examining the grievances. The report of the Committee has been carefully examined and the Competent Authority ordered to hold a re-examination in Paper-III of IP 2011 as per the prescribed syllabus.
3.   Accordingly, a Re-examination in Paper-III will be held on 29-01-2012 (Sunday) in 21 centres (except Kerala Circle).  The Examination will be conducted through approved Outsourcing Agency on turnkey basis.  The Schedule of examination is as below :-
29th January, 2012 (Sunday) Paper-III (without the aid of books) 10-00AM to 01-00PM 
4.   The Re-examination will be for the candidates who actually appeared on 16-10-2011.  The number of candidates appeared is furnished in enclosure.  Due to paucity of time, the outsourced Agency is unable to dispatch the Admit Cards to the candidates physically and instead Admit Cards will be displayed on the Indiapost website and the candidates may be instructed to download the Admit Cards and to appear at the prescribed Venues alongwith Photographs.
5.   The contents of this letter may be given wide publicity and circulated to all the concerned to avoid any personal grievance.
6.   This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

Feedback on the fourth meeting of the National Anomaly Committee

Feedback on the fourth meeting of the National Anomaly Committee was held on 5.1.2012 in New Delhi. The official minutes of the meeting will be published shortly by Dopt.

The AIANGO (All India Association of Non-Gazetted Officers) General Secretary Shri.S.B.Chaubey, updates out come of the National Anomaly Committee Meeting held on 5th January 2012. Some key points are appended in the meeting has uploaded in the official blog of AIANGO. We have reproduced the contents of the post and given below for your information...
1. Increment Anomaly Settled :As per the information received from NAC Members , In today’s National Anomaly Committee Meeting. The point of anomaly in increment between Jan to June has been settled. It has been decided to issue orders for one time correction. Orders may come soon.
2. Grant of financial up-gradation in the promotional hierarchy instead of Grade Pay hierarchyunder the MACPS is under consideration: The required data on this subject was sent to DOP&T by MOD in Last weak of Dec/2011. This point was also discussed in today’s National Anomaly Committee Meeting but could not be decided. Point is under consideration and it will be again discussed in next NAC-Meeting.
3. Grant of ACP to those who have completed 24 years before 01/01/2006 : As intimated vide previous circulars, earlier the file was not traceable in MOF(Expenditure). Now the case is traced and the same is under consideration/process in MOF(Expenditure) for issue of clarification.
4. Review DPC for promotion from CM – NT – OTS to JWM : OFB has committed to issue 120 promotions by 15th Jan/2012. ACR ratings of 120 ACRs of 120 CM/NT(OTS) has been asked from factories after meeting vide. DJWM-15 NT(OTS)/A/GB Dated. 28/12/2012. Letter and list is available in OFB-COMNET. All Branch Secretaries are requested to ensure that ACR Ratings of the individuals of each branch are sent to OFB by Factories at the earliest so that the promotions can be ordered by 15th Jan/2012.
5. DPC for promotion JWM to AWM for Last three Consecutive Years : There was a query of MOD on Final DPC Papers for 100 promotions from JWM to AWM submitted to MOD by OFB. OFB has clarified the same in first Weak of Jan/2011. Now the case is to be approved by the level of Jt. Secretary /LS(DDP) and to be submitted to UPSC for DPC. It may take maximum 02 months in issue of orders as per our assessment.

Expected DA from January 2012

Expected DA from January 2012 : Central Government employees and pensioners are getting additional Dearness allowance twice a year, payable from 1st January and 1st July. For this year 2012 the first installment of additional Dearness allowance will be declared by second week of March 2012 by the Finance Ministry.
The National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR) has expressed his thought about the expected additional installment of Dearness allowance on its website. 
They said that the Dearness allowance is likely to rise by 7% or even more from Jan 2012. The total DA is expected to be 65% or more as per the calculations derived after AICPI figures given to end of November 2011".
